Syria's Damascus is where Hassan Shibly was born. At the age of barely four, he moved to the US. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Magna Cum Laureate. After that, Hassan Shibly continued his education by receiving many scholarships to attend the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he eventually finished near the top of his class.

Hassan Shibly served as a law clerk for the Honorable Eugene H. Nickerson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York after earning his law degree. Before relocating to Tampa, Florida, where he currently serves as the Chief Executive Director (CEO) of CAIR-Florida, the biggest Muslim civil rights organization in the state, he first practiced law at two renowned New York City law firms.

CAIR-Florida has developed into one of the nation's major Muslim civil rights groups under Hassan Shibly's direction. He has also played a significant role in forging ties with individuals from all origins and beliefs.

Hassan Shibly is not only the CEO of CAIR-Florida, but he is also an admitted lawyer in the state of Florida.
